MO

I REALLY hate Christmas because of all the inequality. Last's nights dinner was about a woman who was proud to offer her experiences of interviewing college applicants Middlebury College (her alma mater) and rarely recommending them. This is a person who finally found a job after several years of searching in a bad economy. The funny thing is that the only reason she found the job, even with a degree from HBS, was because of who she knew or met in a who-you-know situation. She had this holier than thou attitude - even after many years of unemployment.

The inequality is not about rich and poor. Although that's part of it. Like the lust of diamonds even at the expense of treating diamond mine workers like animals. Strip searching every orifice of their body and cutting off body parts if they are caught stealing.  No one likes to think about this when they see the glorious diamond. And part of it is the male - female thing. Keeping the poor poor allows the rich to play with each other and stay rich. It's the same as man ruling over woman.

There's so much unfairness and xmas exacerbates the inequity.

IMO and I'm usually right.
